![]() It has, just now, also opened up a new Firefox window with tabs that I was browsing days ago. ![]() I need to pooint out that I have Ad Blocker installed on Firefox but this adware/malware thing is finding a way around it. And below that is a sample of a block performed by said program. The yellow box is a popup window that appeared when I first visited today. The Red and Green boxes indicate the words changed to links and the links that popped up today. But hovering over the embedded links, bring up pop ups (via a div code or something). The code of these sites have not changed at all. I can easily spot this because I work on websites and the sites I worked on do not have these links. Random words on websites are consistently being change to links that should not be there. Sorry.īut it doesn't end there by a long shot. ![]() It never shows up in my browse history so I can't currently provide the URL. After the 2nd attempt, it stops popping up for 24 hours or more. I always close it out immediately and try again. When I open a new tab in my browser, a search engine (with a large colored "O") pops up instead of my homepage (). The issue I'm having is one I know that has been seen before (and resulted in me getting Malwarebytes). And I'm running Windows XP with the latest updates. I was hoping updates would remove it for me but no such luck. I've had no issues since thien until 2 months ago. I've encountered it 2 years ago and was able to remove it via installing Malwarebytes. The biggest issue is that I can't remember how to remove this let alone what it's called to look it up properly. I've tried to fix this on my own but it's just not possible for a number of reasons.
